David Roby (he/him) is honored to join the ministry team at PRLC.  Raised in southern Oregon, he traveled further up the coast to Seattle seeking experience and education in the theatre community. He has always been passionate about storytelling.  He joined the PRLC community in 2014 after being drawn to their inclusivity and familial traditions and focus.  David most recently worked as a teacher with SPS as the Drama Director at Nathan Hale HS, and he also works as a local actor.  He received his Masters in Teaching at Seattle U, Certificate Degree in Physical Theatre at The Commedia School in Copenhagen, Denmark, and BA in Theatre and Communication at SPU.  You may have seen him most recently as The D’Ysquith Family in Driftwood Players’ production of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.

David is blessed to be married to his best-case scenario, Becky, and is happy to live adventurously with his children Flynn and Poppy.  They’re the best!!  He appreciates the way starting a family has changed and improved his perspectives and his life, and he’s thrilled with the opportunity to facilitate growth, healing, and inspiration in PRLC families.  Investing in families may be the most adventurous and rewarding story of all!  All are welcome.
