ADVENTures for everyone! Advent Sunday School

November 29, December 6, December 13, and December 20

One thing we miss most about in-person worship is the blending of generations! We miss the crying babies; the toddlers pushing dump trucks to the communion table; the retired senior asking the teens how their week has been; the elementary kid helping a person in a walker carry their coffee. We miss intergenerational COMMUNITY!

During Advent, we’re putting aside our age-segregated learning groups for an ADVENTure built for everyone. Sundays at 11:15, we will gather on Zoom to look closely at one of the scripture passages from the day, connect it to our lives, and join in an activity designed to remind us of that scripture passage throughout our week. A bonus of the ADVENTure is that you’ll also create gifts you can share with others during the holiday season. Please join us!

You may be wondering: Is this for kids? Yes! Is this for families to do together? Yes! Is this for teens? Yes! Is this for seniors and singles and middle-agers? Yes! It’s for ALL of us, together, and it will be at its best if you all join in the fun.

THERE WILL BE SUPPLIES TO PICK UP AHEAD OF TIME (or a shopping list if you prefer), so please email associatepastor@prlc.org to let us know you plan to participate. You can pick up your Monday-Wednesday, November 23-25, between 9:30 and 3:30 (main office…ring the doorbell), or contact Pastor Van Kley to arrange delivery or a different time.
