The current altar table that has served Phinney for many years will be retired at the second service on Reformation Sunday, October 25. Come to learn something about the history of the altar, the artist who designed it, and give thanks to God for its use in our worship space.
On All Saints Day, November 1, 2015, we will dedicate a new altar table on the culmination of our 100th anniversary celebration. Gifts to fund this new table — and the transportation of the current altar to its new home at the Brauer Museum of Art at Valparaiso University — can be made in memory of or in honor of someone. Envelopes are available at Grace Station on Sunday mornings, or you may bring your contribution in to the church office. Contact Parish Administrator Darren Hochstedler with any questions.
Looking ahead to All Saints Day, and the culmination of our 100th Anniversary Year, we need your help! We want to learn about and showcase the many saints of the PRLC community. We plan to send out our young members to interview and then share the stories of several Phinney community members! If you know of a saint who should be included, send their name and a short description to Abby Cress, or add it to a Sunday morning Count-Me-In.
