Pentecost is the “birthday” of the Christian church. It was on this day that the Holy Spirit ignited and united the hundreds gathered in the synagogue into one universal language under the name of Jesus Christ: a language of love, forgiveness and service as our Lord Jesus shared in his ministry. So what does it look like to have the Spirit alive and moving in the world? In your very life? If Pentecost is the birthday of the universal catholic church, do you know when your “birthday” into the church took place? Pentecost is a day of celebrating; let’s celebrate together our unity in the family of Christ.
